D is for Dance

A, B, C, D….

That tells me, Any Body Can Dance….

Yes..D is for Dance..

In this land where I come from,

We have an infinite variety of Dances...

We have dances for every occasion...

We dance to celebrate Birth,

We dance to  express Love,

We dance as a Prayer,

We dance in Grief,

We dance when the Seasons change and

We dance even to celebrate Death.

Isn't death too the beginning of another eternal journey?

Come let us celebrate this Journey called Life...

This post is a part of Blogging from A-Z April Challenge.

The Blogging from A to Z April Challenge was first held in 2010. The challenge is that we have to post every day of April, except on the four Sundays. April 1st is a theme with letter A, 2nd with letter B and so on till April 30th which will be Z themed. My theme is #Learning Everyday, I post about new random things every day.

  1. I loved the last line, dance like no one is watching. I dance only when no one is watching. But dance for me is something fun and sort of a mood-lifter. I dance to feel better and maybe to shed some weight in the process ;)

  5. What lovely pictures. Thanks for sharing them. I danced ballet for ten years. My girls are also dancers, though some of the dances today don't seem to tell a story like the ones from the past.
