A is for Angels. |
A is for Angels for me, since a very long time.
I firmly believe in their power. I believe that they exist
all around us, helping those in trouble unseen.
I feel the
presence of my Angels, when tired and depressed, a sudden thought dawns on me
and drives away all cares and concerns.
I feel the
presence of my Angels, when I suddenly feel a warm embrace that melt away my fears.
An
enchanting smell that wafts in unexpectedly, a feather that floats onto my palm,
sparks that have no plausible origin, all make me aware that my Angels are
around every moment.
I ask my
Angels for healing, courage, strength and happiness. I always receive what I
ask.
Isn't the
very thought of having a guarding angel to watch over us the most calming one?
There is a
guardian Angel assigned to each one of us. One who knows our innermost fears and is yet unable to help us because we doesn't believe in them.
Sometimes they come to you in the form of your loved ones. Some other times they appear as strangers who chip in to help you at the time of a crisis.
Sometimes they come to you in the form of your loved ones. Some other times they appear as strangers who chip in to help you at the time of a crisis.
Take a
moment to pause and then call upon your Guardian Angels for help, whenever in
doubt.
I also have an Earth Angel who acquainted me with these heavenly beings.

This post is a part of Blogging from A-Z April Challenge.
The Blogging from A to Z April Challenge was first held in 2010. The challenge is that we have to post every day of April, except on the four Sundays. April 1st is a theme with letter A, 2nd with letter B and so on till April 30th which will be Z themed. My theme is #Learning Everyday, I post about new random things every day.

ReplyDeleteOh...that is lovely..Off to read your post...
DeleteI remember learning about my guardian angel in school and when I was young we had a beautiful picture of a young boy walking across a bridge with his guardian angel at his side.
ReplyDeleteI surfed the internet and found a similar picture. Loved it.
Delete"Take a moment to pause and then call upon your Guardian Angels for help, whenever in doubt."
ReplyDeleteI have known this to work. Angels indeed do justice to the letter A.
Damyanti, cohost AZ2014.
Thank you Damyanti... Yes..guardian angels always answer our calls for help.
DeleteWhen the going gets tough for me, I try to put all my belief in my God. I blindly trust Him and I know that He will be always with me. As far as Angels go, I do believe that my daughter is my Angel for only she has the power to turn my worse days into better ones :) A good positive post, Preethi :)
ReplyDeleteAngels are god's messengers Prasanna..And of course god is the final haven for us all...

ReplyDeleteTo guard you in all your ways." Psalm 91:11

DeleteI remember that picture of the little boy and his guardian angel. I pray unceasingly during moments of danger.
ReplyDeleteIt is a lovely painting indeed. I saw it online.. Prayer is the answer to everything.
DeleteA lovely way to start off A to Z. Angels are always with us.
ReplyDeleteAngels were the first thought that came when I though about what to write for letter A..:)
DeleteI love that I came across this post today. I too believe in Angels, but I call this my Guides. They're with me all the time, whispering to me and helping me when I need them, silent when I need them to be. It's something I've learned to keep to myself, because many people just don't believe in anything they can't touch, feel or smell.
ReplyDeleteYes.. I agree.. many people just don't believe in anything they can't touch, feel or smell. But all it takes is a little faith for miracles to happen.
DeleteI don't call them angels, per se; but I truly believe that my mother and brother, who each passed away in 2009, watch over me all the time. My friend, who died in 2012 plays jokes on us from wherever he is!! And my dog, who died in 2011 is always, always, always with me -- in my heart. <3
ReplyDeleteI believe deceased loved ones become our guardian angels and watch over us always.
DeleteI don't believe in angels except in the sense the Abba team sang it: "I believe in angels, something good in everything I see..."
ReplyDeleteTomichan sir..That is a lovely thought..
DeleteOnce upon a time I was in a state emotionally. It lasted for quite a while. One day at work, I noticed a white feather slowly drifting in front of the window. It was going too slowly according to the law of physics...it was moving under the law of grace because it reminded me that angels were with me. It was the turning point.
ReplyDeleteAmazing.. Usually little things guide us in the right direction... Angels have amazing ways..
DeleteThere is no such thing as a coincidence - most likely it's an Angel guiding you in the right direction! Lovely post.
ReplyDeleteTrue.. I too don't believe in coincidence. Thank you for the encouragement..
DeleteI absolutely believe that God has made angels and that he uses them for our protection!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.jubileereviews.com/2014/04/a-for-angelo-atozchallenge.html
God is capable of anything - and for me, that includes Angels. Thanks for a lovely lead for the letter A
ReplyDeleteI believe angels work hard every day to keep us safe and see that our prayers of faith are answered. While studying and memorizing Psalm 91, I recently wrote a post about angels in case anyone is interested. http://idaretobehappy.com/2014/03/23/you-dont-have-to-fall/ I enjoyed reading the post and comments about angels here. Happy writing to all!
